Festive Project for Elderly
Let's not forget that we are the next older generation. We NOW have the opportunity to spoil and ensure those that have come before us know that there's always a special place at the table.
Many of these elderly have dedicated their lives to ensuring others come before them, let's make them know we see them.
This has become a VERY personal project for both PWR Project chairperson, Karl Hildebrandt, and social media personality, Wynand Kotze, as this festive season with not be any easier without their late grandmothers.

Aunty Marie
Living in Bothasig, Cape Town
Aunty Marie says that at her age, she has everything she needs - transport is a problem though. She does miss the company of people around her, due to the pandemic.
She has dedicated her entire life to caring for her almost 46 year old daughter. She has also recently had cancer from her legs removed.
If anything a day out would mean the world to her, maybe a spa day. She deserves to be spoilt.

Aunty Dorothy
Living in Delft, Cape Town
Coming from a very rough childhood, Aunty Dorothy has ensured two of her grandsons are safely housed under her care. All 3 live off only her SASSA.
Her sewing machine is broken and this brings in an additional income. Her only wish is to ensure her grandchildren have enough food, which she has made multiple loans to secure.
Aunty Dorothy also wants to paint her house and redo the inside floors, which she's gone into debt to start the process.

Uncle Stuart
Living in Bothasig, Cape Town
Totally content with the bare minimum, uncle Stuart is a total book worm, with a passion for mechanics.
Ideally, he would love to spend the rest of his life next to the racetrack. Being diagnosed with Motor neurone disease (MND), he's unsure how much mobility time he has left.
Uncle Stuart is also in need of some new wheels, as his current wheel chair has seen many adventures.
